Recommended: Use the root /mcp endpoint (13 tools) for LLM agents. Category endpoints expose all tools directly. Hive MCP exposes crypto market data, on-chain analytics, DeFi, wallets, security, DEX flows, NFTs, network infrastructure, search, and prediction markets via 369 tools across 10 categories. tools/list returns 13 meta-tools: search_tools, 10 category listing tools, get_api_endpoint_schema, and invoke_api_endpoint. Workflow: call search_tools or read hive://toolsets to choose the task toolset, optionally call get_api_endpoint_schema to inspect parameters, then call invoke_api_endpoint to execute. Underlying provider tools remain callable through invoke_api_endpoint on root /mcp, or directly on category endpoints. Use resources like hive://providers, hive://categories, hive://toolsets, and hive://tools for lightweight discovery. When tools support limit, page, per_page, or offset parameters, use them to keep responses small and focused. Some providers are optional and will report unavailable when the corresponding API key is not configured.
